Senior Game Designer (New Casual Match‑3 Game) – Fully RemoteSOFTGAMES is looking for a Senior Game Designer to join our fully remote team and help shape our new casual Match‑3 title. As a Senior Game Designer at SOFTGAMES, you’ll play a key role in defining and delivering the player experience—focusing strongly on level design, while also contributing to systems and economy design. You’ll report to the Producer and Lead Game Designer, collaborating closely with art and development to ensure cohesive and high‑quality gameplay. Your RoleDesign and iterate on levels that provide variety, challenge, and a strong sense of progression. Support the development of game systems, mechanics, and economy structures that complement core gameplay. Collaborate closely with the Producer, game designers, artists, and developers to bring features from concept to final implementation. Translate creative ideas into clear, actionable design documentation. Use data and playtesting feedback to refine level balance and gameplay pacing. Contribute to discussions and decisions about game direction and design priorities. Your ProfilePassionate about mobile and casual games, with a strong interest in Match‑3 design and trends. 5+ years of experience in mobile game design, ideally including work on live or shipped F2P titles. Proven experience in Level Design, from concepting to balancing and polishing. Solid understanding of F2P mechanics, player motivation, and progression design. Comfortable working with spreadsheets, data, and KPIs to analyze and tune gameplay. Strong communicator, able to work effectively in a distributed, agile environment. Takes ownership and follows designs through from idea to implementation. Fluent in English, with clear communication and documentation skills. Located within time zones between GMT and GMT+3 (Europe-based). BonusExperience designing levels or systems for Match‑3 or other casual puzzle games.
